Iron Horse HOG Chapter History
The Iron Horse HOG chapter #1388 in Durango Colorado Was Chartered on September 13, 2002. There were 94 Charter members of the Chapter including Former State Senator Ben Nighthorse Campbell. Of those 94 original members, 20 are still members. They include Dave Abercrombie, Samual Arn, Ed Atkinson, Tommy Barnes, Kathy Giordano, Mike Giordano, Bill Hansen, Rob Hapeman, Mark Hardesty, Steve Householder, Jeff Murray, Anita Nickles, Randy Nickles, Willy Reynolds, Bob Riggio, David Roberts, Terry Saxon, Ron Wakefield, Marshall Whitfield, and Susan Whitfield.
The original Primary Officers were Randall Mettscher ( Director), Randy Nickles ( Asst. Director), Rachelle Whitley ( Secretary), and Anita Nickles ( Treasurer).
Current Primary Officers are: Tom Ondrako ( Director), Tom Wickes (Asst. Director), Dixie Baker (Secretary), Anita nickels (Treasurer).
Iron Horse Chapter Hallmarks

Caring: We encourage member participation in safe, fun, and memorable rides, events, activities, and fellowship throughout the year.
Honor: We participate in the July 4th and Veteran’s Day Parades, We have Chapter BBQ’s and fund raising events in support of the needs of our community.

Our Chapter usually meets on the first Saturday of the month at Durango Harley-Davidson. Winter meetings start at 11:00. From April to November we meet at 10:00 and typically follow the brief meeting with a day ride.
